“Foul Play,SDRq written by local playwright Terry L. Shears and directed by Liz Conrad, Youngstown Playhouse, 600 Playhouse Lane, auditions 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday. The play follows a struggling local community troupe, The Youngstown Smokestack Players, as they stage an awful Victorian melodrama “Miss Weevil’s Whimsy.” A large cast is needed for the farce; some characters will play dual roles. All ages, including kids, are needed, and there is a large portion of physical comedy in the play. Those auditioning should bring a current photograph and be prepared to read from the script.
