Youngstown police serving warrants find cash, drugs, gun

YOUNGSTOWN

Police Tuesday found more than $1,850 in cash in the purse of a woman while serving a search warrant at an 807 Delaware Ave. home investigating drug activity.

Another $250 was found on a man who was there, as well as a 9mm handgun and small amounts of marijuana, pills and crack cocaine.

Four people were taken into custody, including the man and woman. Police were there about 6:10 p.m., reports said.

At a 556 Parkcliffe Ave. home, police there serving a warrant found 19 bags of crack cocaine.

Two people were arrested as a result of that incident. That warrant was served about 4:50 p.m., reports said.
