Kalontae Carter murder trial starts

YOUNGSTOWN

Opening statements are underway in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court in the murder trial of Kalontae Carter, 20.

Carter is accused of taking part in the April 29, 2013, murder of Kristopher Stuart, 36, at an Elm Street home during a robbery that took place during a drug deal.

Jury selection before Judge Lou D'Apolito ended late Tuesday.
