Smart Choice food orders taken Wednesday

NILES — New Hope United Methodist Church, 21 Fairview Ave., is accepting orders for Smart Choice food at the church with cash, check, money order or Ohio Direction Cards from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. to noon Monday.

Orders will also be taken at Niles Community Services, 401 Vienna Ave., from 1:30 to 2:15 p.m. Monday.

Boxes range in price from $20 to $40 and include meat and vegetables, convenience meals, Christmas box, frozen fruit and vegetable box, holiday dessert box and a gluten-free brownie box. There is a special kids box available for $20 with the purchase of any other box.

There are no income restrictions or guidelines. Online specials at www.smartchoicefood.com can be ordered on the website or at the church.

Mail-in orders will be accepted with payment by postal or bank money order or certified check to New Hope Church.

Payment and mail-in orders must be received by Friday. Online ordering will be taken through Dec. 13. A 3 percent handling fee will be added to all online orders.

Distribution is scheduled for 9 to 10 a.m. Dec. 19. A community breakfast will be served the same day from 9 to 10:30 a.m., and Santa will be a special guest. For information, call 330-652-3625.
