Duncan art exhibition

YOUNGSTOWN

An art exhibition by Christopher Duncan titled “Silent Communication: Collaborative Interactions of the Subconscious Mind” is on display in the gallery of the Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane. It runs through Oct. 1. An artist’s reception will take place Thursday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Duncan will give a brief talk at 6 p.m.

Duncan was born in Kilbourne, Ohio, and attended Youngstown State University where he briefly studied art and telecommunications. He left YSU to pursue art full time. He opened Christopher Gallery in Alliance before moving to Arizona.

Duncan also worked as a plumber for 27 years before re-entering the art world full time.
