Dollar Bank Retirees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 16 at Denny’s Restaurant on Route 224 in Boardman. All former employees are invited whether or not you have retired. Call Sandy Ross at 330-506-1290 for information.

Freetimers, YSU Retirees, will meet for a monthly breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson’s in Cornersburg. All retirees are invited.

Lowellville Senior Citizens will meet at noon Friday at Lowellville City Hall conference room. Ernie Ciarniello will preside, and a catered lunch will be provided. For reservations call Janet Davanzo at 330-793-3176. There will be a 50-50 raffle, and bingo will follow the meeting. New members are welcome and do not need to be a resident of Lowellville. Mahoning Retired Teachers Association will conduct its fall meeting Sept. 9 at Antone’s Banquet Center, 8578 Market St., Boardman. Social hour will be at 11 a.m., and lunch will be served at 11:45. Susan Harris will preside. New retirees will be introduced. State Senator Joe Schiavoni will discuss the State of Education in Ohio (The Youngstown Plan) and will respond to HB 70. Back-to-school supplies and soft cover books for ages 4 to 9 will be collected. All retired educators are invited. For reservations call Harris at 330-618-1198 by Thursday.
