Jason Thompson rushed six times for 138 yards and two TDs and Danny Schultz added 95 yards on nine carries with two TDs to lead Lisbon, which rolled up 405 yards rushing. Josh Liberati threw for 88 yards and a touchdown and ran for another.

Angelo Marino threw for two touchdowns and Evan Adair added a 13-yard touchdown run for the Bulldogs.

Tristan Dahmen and Jake Hall finished 1-2 to lead the Maplewood boys to the team title with 29 points. Woodridge was second with 48. Mathews’ Kenny Wallace placed third individually, while Maplewood’s Allen Sparks took fourth. On the girls side, McDonald’s Malina Mitchell placed second and teammate Heidi Hoffman placed sixth to help the Blue Devils finish second behind Woodridge in the team standings. Woodridge’s Clare Willett won the race. Poland’s Maggie Sebest placed fifth.

Salem Early Bird

SALEM

Leetonia’s Michael Inboden won the individual title and East Liverpool’s Quinn Lee placed third to lead the Potters to the team title at Waterworth Memorial Park. Salem placed second. On the girls side, Boardman finished second behind Marlington in the team standings. East Palestine’s Alexis Cunningham was the only area runner in the top five. She placed second.

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Cole Frank had two goals to lead South Range. Mark Vennetti and Brandon Youngs each had a goal and an assist, while Travis Schaffer scored and Brady White had an assist. Matt Heffinger scored in the last minute off an assist from Griffen Lough for West Branch. Marshall Ney had 15 saves for West Branch.

Hannah O’Connor scored two goals and Allison Kyle had the other as the Clippers beat the Eagles. Sam Dubois and Kendall Theil had assists for Columbiana.

CARROLLTON

Lexy Herman had four goals and two assists for Mooney, while Lexy Saunders had a goal and two assists. Damani Santiago and Breanna Evans each had a goal and an assist, while Renee Santisi, Olivia Saunders, Kellie Williams, and Carolyn Kay each had a goal. Mooney’s goalkeeper Jami DiFamio had seven saves.

Maddy Johns had 11 kills, Emma Hartshorn had 29 assists and 11 points and Ellie Dundics had 18 digs for Canfield.

Courtney Cyrus made eight kills while Quinn Crowe and Brianna Yemma each scored six points for the Tigers (2-1). For the Warriors (1-2), Kenzie Drapola and Avery Underwood each made four kills.

Cassie Murcko made 22 kills while Faith Grant contributed 13 kills, five blocks and five points for Howland. For Springfield, Crowe made 10 kills and Lindsay Druschel contributed eight points and 31 assists.

Kate Wainwright set school records for assists (58) and points (37) while adding 33 digs for Newton Falls. Gabby Kline had 26 kills, 22 points and seven blocks and Autumn Hutson had 40 digs. For South Range, Eliza Garlough had 39 digs, Lynne Ritter made 19 kills, five blocks, two aces and 10 points and Codi Taylor had nine kills, 12 digs, four aces and nine points. JV: South Range 2-0.

Emily Gosselin had 12 points, two aces, 15 assists and nine digs and Jenna Crum had nine kills as the Clippers (3-0) swept the Rockets. Haley Tohm added four kills, six points, two aces, six blocks and four digs. Hannah Hum contributed 21 digs and five points and Alexis Cross added six kills, six points, two aces and six digs.
