Dinner honors Simmerses’ 50th anniversary

CANFIELD

Phil and Phyllis Simmers of Canfield marked the 50th anniversary of their wedding Aug. 21 at a buffet dinner at A La Cart Catering.

The couple have two children, Brian (Jennifer) Simmers of Wyoming and Susan Simmers of Florida, and a grandson, Jack.

Mrs. Simmers, the former Phyllis Allen, and Mr. Simmers were married Aug. 21, 1965, at Canfield United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Simmers was employed by United Engineering and retired from Canfield Schools.

Her husband also was employed by United Engineering and retired from C.F. Simmers Division in Canfield.
