Cunningham, Ramirez date set for Sept. 26

Chris and Mike Cunningham of Boardman are announcing the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Krista Cunningham, and Mike Ramirez, both of Columbus.

Parents of the future groom are Linda Robinson of Canfield and Bill Ramirez of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

The couple are planning a 2 p.m. open wedding Sept. 26 at St. Christine Church in Youngstown. Invitations will be issued for an evening reception at the Georgetown in Boardman.

The bride-elect earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Youngstown State University, and a doctorate in chemistry from Ohio State University. She is employed as a staff teaching associate for Ohio State University and as adjunct faculty at Otterbein University. The prospective groom received a degree in automotive technology at Wyo Tech and works as a car man for Progress Rail Services.
