Tanya Lanell Cummings and Stephen Ray were married Aug. 14 at the gazebo in Fellows Riverside Gardens. The Rev. Adam Stevens officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony. A reception followed at A La Cart Catering in Canfield.
The bride, daughter of Wilma and Kenneth Cummings of North Little Rock, Ark., attended Alamo Community College in San Antonio for two years.
The groom, son of Elizabeth and John Ray of Austintown, is a graduate of Youngstown State University, where he earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in science. He is employed as a forensic scientist in the trace evidence section of Arkansas State Crime Lab in Little Rock.
The bride’s gown was satin and lace tulle with a floor-length train.
The maid of honor was Michelle Ray, the groom’s sister-in-law. Bridesmaids were Ariel Cummings and Ashley Cummings, the bride’s daughters; Heather Taylor, the groom’s cousin; and nieces of the groom, Ashley Ray and Madelyn Ray. Makenna Ray and Amanda Ray, the groom’s nieces, were flower girls.
The attendants wore royal blue dresses.
Dr. Glenn W. Ray was best man for his brother. Groomsmen were Brett McGuire, Michael Boyle, Jim Donnatelli, Tony Taylor and Caleb Gearhart, the groom’s cousin.
Braeden Gearhart-Gambone, the groom’s cousin, was ring bearer.
The couple reside in Maumelle, Ark.
