Bishop David L. Thomas officiated the 3 p.m. June 13 wedding of Jessie Christine Abeid of Campbell and Timothy Michael Gaffey Jr. of Warren at Fellows Riverside Gardens.

A reception followed at the DeBartolo Stadium Club in Stambaugh Stadium. The Gaffeys took a wedding trip to Rivera Maya, Mexico.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Cheryl Abeid of Campbell. Mr. Gaffey is the son of Timothy Gaffey Sr. and Cheryl Nutt, both of Cortland.

The bride wore a strapless chiffon over satin A-line gown with a drop waist, featuring beaded lace appliqu s and a sweep train. It was accentuated by a single tier cathedral length veil adorned with beaded metallic details.

Carla Novicky was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were April Mancini, the groom’s sister, and April Goodhart. The attendants wore pool blue-colored dresses.

Timothy Nalbach performed the duties of best man. Groomsmen were Anthony Abeid, the bride’s brother; Michael Mazias, the bride’s cousin; and Andrew Vrabel, the bride’s son. Ushers were Ryan Varley and the bride’s cousin, John Michael Miranda.

Mrs. Gaffey is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at Youngstown State University. She is a quality engineer at Bayloff Stamped Products in Kinsman. Mr. Gaffey earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Kent State University. He is a financial analyst at Turning Technologies in Youngstown.
