Reward offered for arrest in hit-and-run that killed 2-year-old Pa. boy

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Philadelphia police have identified a suspect in an April hit-and-run crash that killed a 2-year-old boy crossing the street with his mother.

The city today offered a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of 22-year-old Miguel Colon.

Police say Colon was behind the wheel of the 2006 Infiniti that struck David Aliea and his 19-year-old mother about 7 p.m., April 13 in the city’s Kensington section.

The woman was critically injured, but recovered quickly and remained at David’s bedside at St. Christopher’s Hospital until he succumbed to his injuries April 16.
