TV show American Pickers seeks collectors

A crew from the History Channel reality series “American Pickers” will be coming to Ohio next week and is considering locations.

The Youngstown Regional Film Commission is urging local collectors who are interested in being on the show to contact the production team.

Collectors must be private citizens. Stores, auctions, museums and flea markets are not eligible.

Collectors must be interesting characters with a vast collection of things for sale, such as old motor scooters, advertising signs, bicycles, toys, vending and pinball machines, movie posters, antique radios, diner collectibles, sports memorabilia and television merchandise.

Those interested should email several photos and contact information by Sunday to jjacobs@cineflix.com or leave a message at 1-855-OLD-RUST, with name, contact number, and description of items.
