Route 8 in Barkeyville Closed in Both Directions

Oil City, PA – Route 8 in Barkeyville Borough, Venango County, is closed is both directions due to a gasoline storage tank explosion at the Heath Tank Farm.

The closure extends from the intersection of Route 8 and Route 208 (Clintonville-Barkeyville Road) to the Route 308 (Pearl/Bullion) exit.

The road is expected to reopen at noon today.
