Aaron E. Allmon, 19, of Fenton Road in Orwell, was arraigned Tuesday on seven charges in Central District Court, two of them felonies, after being arrested Monday night during a traffic stop.

A Bazetta Township police officer stopped Allmon’s vehicle on Geauga-Portage Easterly Road near North Park Avenue at 3:19 a.m. because his vehicle had no rear license plate.

The officer first found a marijuana cigarette on his ear and then found a box in the car containing several types of suspected drugs, including marijuana, heroin and crystal methamphetamine.

He faces two felony drug-abuse charges.

He pleaded not guilty to a misdemeanor charge of operating a vehicle while impaired, DUI, two counts of drug abuse and single count of child endangering.

He received a traffic citation for not having a rear license plate.

He was released after posting a $2,500 personal-recognizance bond, meaning he didn’t have to pay anything.

Police cited an Orwell boy, 17, in Allman’s car into Trumbull County Juvenile Court on charges of being out past curfew and possessing cigarettes.
