Huntington Bank fills school bus with 1,000 backpacks for children in need

YOUNGSTOWN — Huntington Bank filled a school bus this morning with 1,000 backpacks for children in need.

Great Clips donated more than $1,500 for supplies and the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley will leverage that money with corporate sponsors to secure additional donations for the effort.

Bob Hannon, president of the United Way, said elementary schools in Youngstown, Campbell, Boardman and Girard will receive the backpacks.
