Girard man had heroin in car, Youngstown police say

YOUNGSTOWN

A Girard man is in the Mahoning County jail after he was arrested on a possession of heroin charge about 5:55 p.m. Tuesday after a car he was a passenger in was pulled over in the 3000 block of South Avenue.

Reports said Trintess Huffman Jr., 24, was first taken into custody because he had two warrants from Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

The driver of the car allowed officers to search it and police found a dose of heroin in the seat where Huffman was sitting.
