Expect lane restrictions on Interstate 80 in Austintown the next few days

AUSTINTOWN — There will be lane restrictions on Interstate 80 during the coming days on different parts of the highway.

The left lane of I-80 west will be closed at the Ohio Turnpike for pavement repairs from 7 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday.

Then the right lane of I-80 westbound at the turnpike will be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday for pavement repairs.

This weekend, from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday, the right lane on I-80 westbound at the Ohio Turnpike will be closed for pavement repairs. Ohio Department of Transportation officials said access to the turnpike will be maintained throughout the work.

This is part of the three-year $108.4 million project to widen and repave I-80 from state Route 46 to state Route 193 (Belmont Avenue).
