Boardman police handle 12 weekend theft cases

Township police handled 12 theft cases over the weekend, resulting in seven arrests. 

Charged for allegedly stealing from Walmart, 1300 Doral Drive, in separate incidents Friday are Victoria Rauch, 29, of Washington Boulevard and Amber Greer, 21, of Youngstown.

Charged for allegedly shoplifting from JCPenney, 7401 Market St., Sunday is Shayla Winford, 32, of Youngstown.

Charged for allegedly stealing merchandise from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road, in separate incidents Friday and Saturday are Kristina Banet, 28, of Salem and Maxwell Pauletich, 29, of New Waterford. Pauletich also is charged with obstructing official business. 

Police arrested Joseph McCoy, 32, of Washington Boulevard on a theft warrant Friday for an incident in May in which he allegedly stole trees from someone's yard.

Pierre Munoz, 20, of Carter Circle, faces a felony theft charge after he allegedly stole a ring valued at $1,800 after responding to an ad on Craigslist.

Police also took reports for five other theft cases between Friday and Sunday.

Those who were arrested are scheduled to appear in Mahoning County Area Court here Tuesday or Thursday.
