Oct. wedding set for Miss Ocasio, Mr. Franceschelli

The parents of Daisy Ocasio and Hank Franceschelli Jr. are announcing their children’s engagement and upcoming wedding.

She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ocasio Jr. of Boardman, and he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Franceschelli Sr. of Struthers.

The couple, both of New Middletown, have planned a ceremony for Oct. 10 at St. Columba Cathedral, and they will receive well-wishers during a reception at St. Mary’s Assumption Social Center.

Both venues are in Youngstown, and both are by invitation only.

The bride-elect graduated cum laude from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She is employed as a business banking specialist for Citizens Bank in Salem.

The prospective groom graduated from Thiel College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He is employed as a union laborer for Marucci & Gaffney Excavating Co. in Youngstown.
