Doctor of pharmacy

Andrew Frederick, son of Catherine Frederick of Girard, graduated from Duquesne University with a doctor of pharmacy degree. He is a 2009 graduate of Lakeview High School.

Frederick works as a pharmacist with Walgreens in El Paso, Texas.

DOCTORS

Fellowship planned

Jeffrey L. Watts, D.O., son of Tom and Renee Watts of Girard, has graduated from a five-year resident program in orthopedic surgery and will be doing a fellowship at the Texas Back Institute Research Foundation, Plano, Texas. Dr. Watts will specialize in spine surgery.

He is a graduate of Girard High School, Youngstown State University and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Erie, Pa.
