Man, 65, stabbed in downtown Youngstown

YOUNGSTOWN

A 64-year-old man is recovering from a stabbing in downtown Youngtown on Saturday afternoon.

The victim reported to a police officer that he was stabbed at about 2:21 p.m. The police report states that he had a severe cut to his left chest. He was then transported to St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

The suspect is described a 27-year-old black, homeless man who weighs about 160 pounds.
