Consultant to advise companies on issue of ergonomics

YOUNGSTOWN

The Mahoning Valley Safety Council will work Sept. 9 with a consultant from the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Social Hall, 343 Via Mount Carmel Ave.

Mike Rienerth, ergonomics consultant and technical adviser, will assist members in developing a written ergonomics process for their companies using elements of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s program management guidelines.

Registration begins at 11:15 a.m. with the program to follow from noon to 1 p.m.

Reservations are required by Sept. 4. The cost is $20 for Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber members and $30 for nonmembers. To register, call 330-744-2131, ext. 12.

Nominations taken for 25 Under 35

The Mahoning Valley Young Professionals still are accepting nominations for the 25 Under 35 Awards.

The deadline to nominate the best and brightest young professionals is Wednesday.

Nominees must be between age 21 and 35 and may not exceed 35 years of age Aug. 31. Nominees must live and/or work primarily in Columbiana, Mahoning, or Trumbull counties.

Nonprofits: Submit video to ComDoc to win Xerox machine

ComDoc, a Xerox Co. with operations in Girard at 6790 Belmont Ave., will give away 60 Xerox machines to nonprofit organizations to celebrate its 60th anniversary.

ComDoc is asking area nonprofits to submit fun, short videos under 60 seconds describing why the organization should be selected to receive a free Xerox machine.

The deadline for submission is Sept. 8.

Women’s leadership event is scheduled

Infinity rebrands

EAST LIVERPOOL

Infinity Physical Therapy of East Liverpool and Girard recently rebranded and is putting a special focus on its home health physical therapy services to meet an increasing need among those patients.

Infinity maintains contracts with multiple home health agencies, allowing its therapists to serve clients in Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties, as well as other Northeast Ohio counties.

Infinity also offers outpatient physical therapy.
