Kathy Perkins and Martin Shaffer, both of Austintown, are announcing their plans for a Sept. 19 wedding.

The ceremony will take place at the Davis Visitors Center in Mill Creek Park, where the reception will follow. Invitations have been extended.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Perkins of Austintown, and the prospective groom is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Shaffer.

Miss Perkins is employed as a payroll administrator for Fred Martin of Youngstown.

Mr. Shaffer works in sales for Fred Martin of Youngstown.

He graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
