Sobriety checkpoints will be set up tonight on Market Street

CANFIELD

The Mahoning County Operating a Vehicle while Impaired Task Force, in conjunction with the Ohio State Highway Patrol, will conduct two OVI checkpoints on Market Street tonight.

The first checkpoint will be at 6809 Market St. in Boardman from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. The second will be at 11330 Market St. in North Lima from 1 to 3 a.m.

Police officers also will conduct saturation patrols in various parts of Mahoning County throughout the weekend, and during the checkpoint stops.
