Sewing guild email address correction

CORTLAND

The Niles Chapter of the American Sewing Guild is hosting a workshop from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 29 at Trumbull County Agricultural Center, 520 W. Main St.

Local fiber artist Robin Walker will teach how to create a 3-D felted cavern purse. The cost is $20, which includes a purse kit. Take a covered dish to share for lunch and a serving spoon.

Items needed for the class are a sewing machine with a walking foot, jean needle, basic sewing supplies and assorted thread colors. Take any embellishments or mementos you would like to use on your purse.
