First Menard's store in Mahoning Valley opens Tuesday in Warren

WARREN _ A Menards home-improvement store is opening Tuesday at the intersection of Elm Road and the state Route 5 Bypass.

It is the easternmost Menards store in the country and the first in the Mahoning Valley. Menards has 286 other stores in 14 Midwestern states. It has 21 other Ohio stores.

Menards is an Eau Clair, Wis.-based, family-owned company started in 1958 that sells items for homeowners, tenants, business owner and contractors, the company said in a news release.

“With home improvement at the forefront of today’s do-it-yourself market, Menards provides a valuable resource for the entire community,” the company said.
