VXI to hire 150

Downtown call center VXI is in search of 150 employees.

The Los Angeles-based company with an office at 20 W. Federal St., Suite 150, 20 Federal Place, started the recruitment campaign Wednesday.

Minimum requirements are six months of sales and customer-care experience, a high-school diploma or General Educational Development diploma.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday with weekends and most major holidays off. Workers can earn up to $11 per hour with medical, dental and vision coverage and can enroll in a 401(k) plan.

Open interviews will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays through Wednesday.

In fact, 90 percent of our leadership and support positions are promoted from within.”

VXI Global Solutions LLC has grown since its 2009 start to be one of Youngstown’s largest employers with more than 1,000 employees.
