Man gets probation in melee at Ohio Chuck E. Cheese’s

CLEVELAND (AP) — A 43-year-old man has been given probation and a fine for his role in a melee during a children’s birthday party at a Chuck E. Cheese’s restaurant in a Cleveland suburb.

Jahmeel Green Sr. was sentenced today after pleading guilty last month to aggravated riot. Green along with four other adults and a juvenile were charged criminally after what authorities say was an attack in March on restaurant employees in Parma.

The judge ordered that Green spend a year on probation and fined him $250. Two defendants were fined $25 on July 20 after pleading guilty to misdemeanors. Felony charges are pending against a 42-year-old man and a 36-year-old man.
