YSU UPDATE | YSU has many institutional achievements, president Tressel says

YOUNGSTOWN -- Jim Tressel, Youngstown State University president, pointed to institutional achievements at his State of the University address today.

He listed YSU's inclusion on Forbes' America's Top Colleges list, accreditation of the Williamson College of Business Administration and opening of the LaunchLab for 3D manufacturing and design.

Tressel also said "many opportunities lie ahead" for the university. He talked about an emphasis on a "culture of community" at the school. He called it a feeling of safety, a sense of family.
