YSU UPDATE | Tressel plans to focus on workforce compensation this year

YOUNGSTOWN — YSU President Jim Tressel plans to focus this year on workforce compensation.

He said next time the university talks about contracts they'll be talking about increases.

The number of new students is up 11 percent from last year and their ACT scores are higher.

Also, YSU's multicultural student population has increased 47 percent this year, he said in his State of the University address today.
