These campaigns give schools, businesses and sports teams an opportunity to raise awareness and support for kids battling cancer.

In 2014, the campaign began at Akron Children’s Hospital’s Akron campus where $25,000 was raised. All funds raised will be used to support patients being treated at the Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders.

Not only will teams and athletes be asked to Lace Up, but also schools and businesses will be invited to participate in Go4theGoal’s fifth annual National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Day on Sept. 25.
