BINGO PARTIES

St. Rose Church, 48 E. Main St., Girard, will host a Bingo Night on Sept. 2 at St. Rose School, 61 E. Main St. Doors open at 4 p.m. and bingo starts at 6:30. Admission is $35 per person, and advance tickets are available. A maximum of 250 tickets will be sold. Tickets can be purchased at weekly St. Rose bingo on Wednesday nights and from Monday to Friday at the church. Prizes will be $6,000 overall in bingo games, with a first-half coverall of $1,000 and a second-half coverall of $1,000. Tickets for the raffle are $3 each, two tickets for $5 and five tickets for $10. Pull-tab games also will be available.

FUNDRAISERS

Campbell Memorial High School Alumni Association will host a scholarship fundraiser, its annual Reverse Raffle and Dinner, on Oct. 24 at Archangel Michael Hall, 12th Street in Campbell. Helping Hands Closet at Western Reserve United Methodist Church, 4580 Canfield Road, Canfield, has new and gently used clothes for the entire family. During August each item will be $1. Holiday and wedding attire will be 75 percent off. Hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will have its annual Trunk & Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 12 in the church parking lot. The cost is $10 per space. Butts Museum, on the corner of Routes 305 and 193 in Fowler Center, will be the location of a Car and Tractor Show and basket auction from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. A drawing will take place at 3. Take your antique car or tractor and your lawn chairs. The event is hosted by Fowler Historical Society.

TRIPS

Jewish Community Center is planning a bus trip Sept. 27 to Pittsburgh for the musical “Jersey Boys,” the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The bus will leave the JCC at 11 a.m. and return at 7 p.m. Prices are $90 for members and $100 for nonmembers. The cost includes an orchestra seat and transportation. Dinner is on your own. Trumbull County Travel Club is planning a motorcoach trip Oct. 20-24 to Williamsburg, Va., and Washington, D.C., which is filling quickly. The club will travel to Hawaii in 2016 with a stop in San Diego.
