Ringling Bros. circus returning to Covelli

YOUNGSTOWN — The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey circus will return to Covelli Centre on Nov. 19-22 with its “Legends” show.

Tickets go on sale Tuesday at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster.com, by phone at 800-745-3000 and at the Covelli box office.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 19 and 20; 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Nov. 21; and 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Nov. 22.

In the show, ringmaster Johnathan Lee Iverson guides Paulo, the Legend Seeker, on his quest to discover real, living legends.

Acts will include the Riders of the Wind, trick-riders who thunder into the arena on thoroughbred horses; the Solar Hawks, a team of acrobats who will attempt three consecutive triple somersaults on a double-wide trapeze; and Alexander Lacey, lion and tiger tamer.
