Boardman Lions host Dinner in the Dark

SPECIAL TO THE VINDICATOR Boardman Lions sponsored an opportunity to learn about the challenges the blind face daily at a Dinner in the Dark. It took place July 29 at Boardman United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The dinner consisted of salad, bread, pasta with meatballs and dessert. Diners ate while blindfolded. Funds raised will support the Pilot Dog Program and the Lions District Eye Care Foundation. Committee members were Lions Matt Gambrel, Jana Coffin, Ed Metzel and Sam and Allison Campana.
