Austintown coach facing child-porn charges arraigned today

AUSTINTOWN — After a middle-school coach made his first court appearance today, the Austintown school board has set a meeting Tuesday to dismiss him.

Rex Bosley, 59, of Austintown, was arraigned this afternoon on three felony child pornography charges. His bond was set at $9,000 cash or surety bond.

The school board will have a special meeting at 4 p.m. to fire Bosley.

He was approved by the school board in November to coach seventh-grade girls basketball at Austintown Middle School.
