26th annual Community Cup events begin Friday

YOUNGSTOWN — The 26th annual Youngstown Area Community Cup will host its August events from Friday through Sunday. All the weekend’s events are free.

On Friday, events will be at the Central YMCA, 17 N. Champion St., and will include a hot shot basketball competition and four swimming races.

The event continues Saturday with a golf scramble at Mill Creek Golf Course, 1 West Golf Drive, Boardman, and a bowling tournament at Camelot Lanes, 628 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman.

The final weekend event will be a volleyball tournament at the Central YMCA on Sunday; the Red Division will compete at 9 a.m., White Division at noon, and Blue Division at 2:30 p.m.
