MALIBU, CALIF.
Thais Helene Miller and Chad Robert Fusco were united in marriage during a 5 p.m. ceremony July 12 at the Malibu West Beach Club in Malibu, Calif., where a reception followed. Rabbi Allen Freehling officiated over the rites.
The couple reside in San Francisco after returning from a wedding trip to Italy.
The bride’s floor-length silk chiffon gown featured a small train and a bodice with an open back and embroidered lace detailing.
Brooke Fusco, sister of the groom, served as maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Marisa Guterman, Amy Lau and Jessie Levine. Attendants wore dresses in shades of blue.
Serving as best man for his brother was Jarrod Fusco, and groomsmen were Nome Baker, Jon Fagert and Lawson Marlowe.
The bride is the daughter of Steven J. and Mona D. Miller of Los Angeles. She graduated from American University with a bachelor’s degree in literature and music performance. She obtained a master’s degree in creative writing from New York University.
She teaches creative writing for Gotham Writers Workshop in San Francisco.
The groom is the son of Robert J. and Lori A. Fusco of Canfield. He obtained bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Case Western Reserve University.
He is employed as a structural engineer for Arup, a London-based engineering consultancy, in San Francisco.
