Nicole L. Gettman of Canfield and Christopher L. Wells of Austintown exchanged wedding vows in a 2:30 p.m. ceremony June 6 at Bethel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Richard Kidd officiated at the wedding, and a reception followed at A La Cart Catering in Canfield.

After a honeymoon in Aruba, the couple reside in Canfield.

The bride’s beaded ivory gown featured a chapel-length train, and she wore an elbow-length veil.

The bride’s sister, Tiffany Neely, was her matron of honor, and her niece, Briana Neely, was the junior bridesmaid. They wore capri blue-colored gowns.

Carl Alexander served as best man.

The bride is a daughter of Skip and Lin Gettman of Boardman. She graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree, and she earned a master’s degree in higher education from Geneva College. She holds the position of academic adviser for Youngstown State University.

The groom is the son of Cindy and Dave Urbach of Austintown and James Wells of Tennessee. He is employed as a steel worker for Firing Inc. in Youngstown.
