WARREN
Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership Warren Farmers Market, in conjunction with Farmer Appreciation Week, which is Aug. 23-29, has released new promotional videos about the Warren Farmers Market. The market’s farmer vendors will host a special event from 3 to 6 p.m. Aug. 25 in Warren’s Courthouse Square at North Park Avenue and High Street.
Free parking will be available in the Franklin Street parking deck. The event will include a raffle, free yoga at 3 p.m., free Dancing Mindfulness with Dr. Jamie Marich at 5 p.m., and the Big Green Thing – a Better Food Truck, will provide local-prepared foods for sale.
Videos educating the public about local farmers and the Warren Farmer’s Market were created through grant funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farmers Market Promotion Program awarded to Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership.
TNP, in collaboration with Trumbull County Health Department’s Creating Healthy Communities, Mercy Health, Trumbull Memorial Health Foundation and Lake-to-River Cooperative, brings the Warren Farmer’s Market to Courthouse Square so the public may purchase locally grown and produced foods and agricultural products.
The market accepts the Ohio Direction Card for SNAP/EBT benefits as well as credit and debit cards.
