Church plans project for dresses to Haiti

HUBBARD

Corner House Christian Church, 6954 Chestnut Ridge Road, will host a project to send little dresses to Haiti.

Each class member, 12 and older, will select fabrics and notions, place a pattern, and cut, sew and create a sun dress.

The project will begin at 10 a.m. Sept. 12 and continue Sept. 21 and each month afterward.

Some sewing supplies and machines have been donated for the project. No money is required unless you want to buy the materials you use or donate supplies.
