Brothers fight over tire, shots fired
YOUNGSTOWN
Police said a man got into a fight with his brother Wednesday morning over a tire, got knocked out, then left and returned with a handgun and fired several shots at him.
Kenneth Perkins, 23, is in the Mahoning County jail on a charge of felonious assault after he was arrested about 9:20 a.m.
Reports said officers were called to a 1703 Poland Ave. tire shop for a shooting and were told by a man that his brother, Perkins, argued with him about a tire he bought he was not happy with.
The victim said Perkins pushed him and he punched Perkins, knocking him out.
Reports said after Perkins was knocked out, he woke up and came back with a handgun and fired several shots at him.
The victim was not hit by the gunfire, reports said.
Police found Perkins driving the wrong way on Cooper Street and stopped him and arrested him.
Police found four .380-caliber shell casings at the tire shop, reports said.
