MCBDD website has levy renewal information

AUSTINTOWN — The Mahoning County Board of Developmental Disabilities has launched a new website to get the word out about a 3-mill, five-year renewal levy on the November general-election ballot.

The levy will generate about $11.3 million per year that will go toward MCBDD’s programs and services as well as Medicaid waivers, board President Bill Whitacre noted during tonight’s meeting in the Center at Javit Court, 153 Javit Court.

The levy will not mean an increase in taxes, he stressed.
