City man cited for shooting his gun
YOUNGSTOWN — Police cited a West Side man about 8:20 p.m. Sunday after he admitted firing his .45-caliber handgun into the ground at least 10 times.
Police were called to a home in the first block of Halls Heights for a report of gunfire and when they arrived neighbors told them where the gunfire was coming from.
Reports said a man at the source of the gunfire, Andrew Lippiatt, 23, of Halls Heights, admitted firing a gun from inside his home.
Reports said police found shell casings on the window sill of the kitchen window and Lippiatt showed officers where he hid his gun.
Lippiatt was issued a citation for discharging within city limits.
