The Mahoning Valley Young Professionals, in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley, has announced that nominations are being accepted until Aug. 26 for the annual 25 Under 35 Awards. The 25 Under 35 Awards, previously known as the 40 Under 40 Awards, is in its third year.
Three honorees will be selected for special accolades as MVP Award winners.

‘InDepth’ program targets environment

The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber’s next “InDepth” program will take place from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Aug. 30 at Kenneth F. McMahon Hall at the MetroParks Farm, 7574 Columbiana-Canfield Road.
The “InDepth with: Business Sustainability” will feature information on green-business practices and processes to help protect the environment and help companies improve their bottom lines.
Speakers include Justin Rogers, planning manager at Mill Creek MetroParks, and Stephanie Dyer, environmental program manager at Eastgate Regional Council of Governments.
