Salem police searching for shooting suspect

Police are searching for a man suspected in a shooting reported Saturday morning at an apartment complex on Lexington Avenue.

Police have identified Vincent Perry, 22, as a suspect. Perry is a 5-foot 7-inch tall, 140-pound black male with tattoos on his chest and arms, according to police. They said the shooting left a 31-year-old man with a gunshot wound in his arm. The victim has since been released after treatment at Salem Regional Medical Center.
