Salem police investigate shooting at apartment complex

Police are searching for a suspect in a shooting reported this morning at an apartment complex on Lexington Avenue.

Police have identified Vincent Perry, 22, as a suspect. Perry is a 5-foot-7-inch, 140-pound black male with tattoos on his chest and arms, according to police. Police said the shooting left a 31-year old man with a gunshot wound to his arm. The victim has since been released after treatment at Salem Regional Medical Center.
