Bobbi Kristina’s estate adds count to lawsuit

ATLANTA

The administrator of Bobbi Kristina Brown’s estate has added a wrongful- death count to the lawsuit against her partner.

The amended lawsuit filed Friday also accuses Nick Gordon of giving her a “toxic cocktail” and putting her face-down in water.

The 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston died in hospice care July 26, about six months after she was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her suburban Atlanta townhome Jan. 31. Gordon hasn’t been charged criminally.

Country singer Owen announces divorce

NASHVILLE, TENN.

Country singer Jake Owen and his model wife, Lacey Buchanan, are divorcing.

Owen posted a statement on his Twitter account Friday saying the couple decided to end their marriage after three years. The statement added that they want to focus on their daughter, Pearl, and asked for privacy.

The “Beachin”’ singer will host the Academy of Country Music Honors show in Nashville on Sept. 1.

Lady A’s Kelley, wife announce pregnancy

NASHVILLE, TENN.

Lady Antebellum singer Charles Kelley and his wife, Cassie, are expecting their first child in February.

Cassie McConnell Kelley made the announcement on her Womanista.com website Friday.

She wrote that after years of trying to get pregnant, the couple was told they had a 1 percent chance of conceiving a child naturally.
