Bark for Life will support cancer society

LISBON

The American Cancer Society’s Bark for Life of Columbiana County is a walk for dogs and their owners to fight cancer. The event will take place Sept. 12 at Columbiana County Career & Technical Center, 9364 state Route 45.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. It is a one-mile noncompetitive walk on a pre-planned route, and dogs and their owners can enjoy games, demonstrations and contests.

Take your favorite pooch for a day of tail wagging, dog treats and tricks and finding cures for cancer.
