Krista Hamilton, Michael Gettan to wed Sept. 12

Krista Marie Hamilton and Michael Joseph Gettan, both of Newton Falls, are engaged, her parents are announcing.

Miss Hamilton is the daughter of Rod and Linda Hamilton of Canfield, and her fianc is the son of Jerry and Janie Gettan of Berlin Center.

Invitations are to be extended for the couple’s Sept. 12 wedding, planned for 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul Church in Salem, and for a reception to follow at St. Mary Assumption Social Center in Youngstown.

The bride-elect graduated from Casal Aveda Institute with a managing cosmetologist degree and is a self-employed hairdresser.

Mr. Gettan graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in engineering. He is employed as an engineer with Dominion East Ohio Gas Co. in Akron.
